So my two bogs in the backyard seem to be doing okay. However, the top layer of LFS seems to constantly dry out with the weather here in southern california. I have been misting the dried out parts every morning. Is this a bad idea? is it not needed? keep in mind I have little no no humidity...
So the seeds have finished their 4 weeks of cold stratification and I just sprinkled all of them in selected areas on my mini bogs with labels to mark them. My question is how long will it take for the seeds to germinate? does it depend on the species? seeds include: spatulata, intermedia...

So I made the mistake of buying and useing this Hawathian Green Moss as a top layer for my CPs instead of LFS. Is this okay to use as a top layer? Does it benefit the plants in any way besides looking nice? Am going to buy LFS tommarow.. but am wondering if I can leave the large amount of green...
