Hello,
I have a Nepenthes vogelii 3 inches in diameter up for trade. I'm looking for unusual aroids, in particular big-leaved anthuriums, Philodendrons, Alocasia species, etc.
Also looking for fragrant Phalaenopsis hybrids/species and any Brassavolas/Big cattleya species
Pm me if interested
Hello,
I'm looking for Dischidia species that host ants such as pectinoides, major, etc, as well as interesting Hoya species. If you have any and want to send an offer, please pm me!
I believe this is a hybrid of butzii. T. butzii has a very distinct zebra pattern that this plant is lacking. I'm not sure it looks like any other species i've seen either.
I have two Dynastes tityus larvae that are likely approaching their adult stage soon, and I don’t have room for them once they get there. They need a good home! I don’t trust shipping them in cold weather, so you would have to locally pick them up. I am in the vancouver WA/ Portland OR region...
Definitely do not repot until the plants go completely dormant. Doing it before their leaves die back all the way can damage them. Also, Pterostylis are commonly grown clustered, and do so in nature.
Hello,
I'm looking to buy Nepenthes plants or seeds, particularly toilet-shaped species as well as plants/seeds with a large peristome or unique shape (veitchii, burbidgeae, truncata, etc.)
Just send me a pm! Thanks.
I believe we are past due for more photos, unfortunately of much lower quality this time around.
Above is good ‘ol vogelii making progressively larger pitchers
Here’s veitchii ‘murud stripe’ x bario squat’ with its first ever wide peristome pitcher. It came out of nowhere, the last pitcher...
Hi,
Does anyone know what type of bromeliad this is? I was thinking a billbergia but I can't find any species or hybrid like it. Also, would this be a good plant to try and grow Utricularia humboldtii in?
I grow it outdoors in a pot on my porch. It likes near full sun during the growing season, and I've been keeping just barely dry right now. I'm not sure if that is good conditions for dormancy but it is what I am trying. It is able to take below freezing temperatures.
