    For Pokie22

Nice job Nancy ! Yup, they are very small and cute, but only for a little while :) You will want to scape off that green translucent sludge if it inches closer to any of the babies. Crossing my fingers that more of them germinate for you! Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

    Drosera Regia From Seed

A revival of this old thread is in order as I recently observed on one of my regias.......... :-O This batch of seed was sown in late February 2015, and is ~ 14 months old now. The seed originated from a well known Bulgarian seller. Sadly, the individuals in the original posts were either...

Nepenthes, Cephalotus, Drosera, Heliamphora ...etc, in vitro

Wow, talk about slow pokes :0o:. I have always had Heliamphora germinate within the first 2 months post-sowing. Hence, it was quiet the surprise when I observed germination in this flask sown back in September 2015. The compost controls exhibited something similar, with new germination appearing...

    H. uncinata troubles ?

I too have found that the largest factor in vigor and health is the clone line itself. Many AW clones are poor performers for me, baring a few, and I have all but rid them from my collection. If a plant is declining, my first action would be to refresh the media. If there is evil lurking in the...

Roridula Gorgonias, seed to flowering in less than a year :)

Thanks apoplast! It certainly is a fast grower and easily cared for, in comparison to R. Dentata, at least. I find they benefit from larger pots. Small short pots stunt their growth. I reccomend placing seedlings into at least 4" tall pots to let them spread their roots. Nimbulan, I fertilise...

Roridula Gorgonias, seed to flowering in less than a year :)

Nothing fancy, just standard T12 cool white bulbs. It is not a grow space, so to speak. Rather, they share space on my gel electrophoresis bench.

Nope, nothing new in the in vitro Drosera department.

Roridula Gorgonias, seed to flowering in less than a year :)

I thought I would have to wait two years before these would come full circle. Nope, these two precocious babies wanted to surprise me for the holidays! :boogie: Presently, these two are 285 days old.

    Growing U. mannii

Recently, I received some plugs from a friend who has been growing U. mannii for a very long time. Thanks Ron for creating this very informative thread! I found this after I searched why the leaves on my U. mannii started to shrivel. I must say, this species is more finicky than the others I...
