    Non-Carnivorous Tepui Plants?

Hey all! I'm trying to find some companion plants for my terrarium and I like the idea of growing some non-carnivorous plants that naturally occur on tepuis. That being said, I haven't had any luck finding any non-carnivorous tepui plants for sale. Does anyone know if there are any in...

    Mystery Weed

Thank you for the responses! The plants that look sort of like fern gametophytes are actually the U. livida that I'm growing in the pot; the weeds are the larger plants with the round leaves and long petioles. yeah, I am probably going to let them stay in the pot for a while to get a better ID...

    Mystery Weed

I have been a bit neglectful of my terrarium plants lately and things have gotten a bit messy. I have a pot full of U. livida that all of a sudden became home to some sort of volunteer plant. I have had the pot in my terrarium for about 10 months so I'm not sure what triggered the seeds to...

    pk93's pic thread

Hey Grey Moss, the flowers are almost 2 inches across :) . I think the temperature in my terrarium is usually around 75° F in the day and around 65° at night, so fairly normal home temperatures. That being said, these tend to be considered highland plants. I am by no means an expert at growing...

    pk93's pic thread

So I didn't manage to get a good pic of the U. alpina x endresii bloom last time, but the plant has been flowering like crazy recently! It put out a total of 7 spikes over the past three months (two still blooming, one still growing). My fall quarter was really busy so I am only now getting the...

Gorgeous! I love Disa orchids but they are rather difficult to get ahold of in the US.

    SHOW US YOUR ORCHIDS/FLOWERS!

Restrepia brachypus Unfortunately I can't take credit for the flower since it was a fairly recent addition when it bloomed.

    Nepenthes cutting trouble

Thank you for the replies! I have moved it to a spot that only gets shade. I will probably take a cutting from above the brown area tomorrow and try and root that. I have some pumice so I might try adding that to the sphagnum too. Thanks again!

    Nepenthes cutting trouble

Hello, I'm currently trying to root a couple cuttings I purchased this past Saturday, I thought they were doing okay until I looked at them today. One of them (a mystery cutting) has started to turn brown at the middle of the stem, the stem is still firm but I can only imagine that it is some...
