I have seen those suckers grow huge, and their webs big enough to be a hassle when I am blindly looking for a morning tree while camping.

Maybe the next musical will be - "Machine Shop of Horrors". Okay, I am just going along, all innocent and surfing the web - when I run accross this site. Yeah, it's selling something... but wait till you see! I am not endorsing this site, but this item has to be seen to believed. For those...

    virus or fungus

Okay, I have a simular problem. It almost seems like Powdery Mildew, all over, but not thick like on a rose. My tips are browning out and new growth is contorted. I use only distilled and rainwater. Here is what it looks like, any any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Well, my Sarracenia went from fantastic, to weird contorted shapes with no openings and burned tips. The drosera are fine. I am wondering if I sink a pipe down into the nether regions and periodically pumped out the water, if that would equate drainage. I got these containers at IKEA for a...

"Cheap" is relative. I think Brazil did it right, they DID something non-violent...

Tamlin, thanks for the drainage comment. It is something I am worried about for sure. Though, I have a friend who has lots of bogs in undrained beds and his are growing strong after years. Another thing I am wondering about... A/C drainage water... It is not distilled but is actually water from...

    Gluten allergy

I have an aunt who is Celiacs. They say it runs in the family and comes in varying degrees. This makes me shudder. I bought a S. "Tarnok" at Whole Foods for 9.99. They had "Judith Hindle" and "Dixie Lace". Keep a look out for the plants while you're looking for the gluten free beer.

Hey. I have only been involved with CP's for about a year now. Started when I worked in landscaping with Brooks Garcia who is amazing with his hybridizing, growing and conservationist work of Sarracenia. My first "bog" was 12x20" and had a few starter plants. This spring I divided everything...
