ok i just bought an orchid for my girlfriend. its a oncidium colmanara wildcat "rainbow", i was wondering if anyone had a picture of what the flowers look like, and also i was wondering about basic care for this type as it didnt come with a care tag, i would also like to know what medium i can...
ok i had it potted with some lfs and perlite, and about 2" of the stalk going up is rotting, so what should i do about that? the plants a little top heavy now
ok so i got a nepenthes from lowes like in february, and i have had it in nice shape was growing pitchers real nice about 4" and the plant birds eye view probably spans about 10" but all of a sudden it started to rot a bit and the pithcers start rot then the leaves... is there anything i can do...
yeah i got mine early spring from lowes, and it grew quite well over summer and was happy with the progress so im gonna put it in dormancy no point in skipping first year so thanks for the help guys
i did repot into lfs a little while back and i think the roots must have rotted away as well cause they were basically non existant, what do the roots typically look like?
i have an unknown nepenthes i got from lowes and i have it in a terrarium with lights and i just dont seem to be doign a good job with it, it hasnt been doing much of anythign in the way of growth and im worried i will eventually kill it but its still ok, i can snap a pic of it if anyone wants...
ok i bought a cobra lilly about a month and a half ago, i repotted into lfs and have it going and its not dying off or anything but it just hasnt put up any new shoot and it hasnt shown any signs of growth, and the fenestrations have browned some, whats going on?
see ok this is kind of what i was theorizing as well because the leaf ends are more clubbish and thats what i saw in alicea pics, do alicea have white flowers as well? they do get about the most sun i can give them, the glands are redder in color but that didnt show up too well in the picture...
yeah it didthanks alot , although i thought my camera sized the pics smaller than they are i guess, wehn i view on my pc they arent this big, yeah this drosera is in between my capensis which i split off from each other they are both doing good and flowering
ok im asking because mine has white flowers and of the pics of spatulata i see the ends are more round and on mine they are more clubbish, in the pic they look more round then they actually are...
