7 long years are passed since I wrote last time in this thread. Now I can tell you that only one plant survived and that I own it still today. Even my friends to who I sent other seed buds had seedling...but only me succeded to let survive a plant. So...ventrata on th3 market is NOT sterile...

Dubia.....hard in ITALY
Even in the Canteen I encounter difficulties growing this plant nicely....Summer is too hot....and I am trying to keep my place cool in the 2 hot Summer months by reducing to half the Neon Lights....from 16 h x day to 8 with half of light in order not to produce too much...

Yesterday I decided to spend more than an hour to empty all dirty water and all the algae around the pots and the recipients in order to avoid at least larvae reproduction.

Thanks for your tips because I made some studies this night.
I went into my cellar and took some photos of the plants.
I also put a spider inside.Tomorrrow I will put a second spider into cellar habitat.

Ok!this is what I am also doing!in my cellar lights are off during day and on during night.
If it is not a worn I also know the insect you showed me.
From what I know it uses to eat plants just in case he is hungry.maybe my case?

Yesterday I went to do some job in my cellar and maybe I have disturbed its peace because at least this morning when i went to give a look with lamps off and a little led lamp in my hand I did not see any more bites or bug.
Anyway i will check often and maybe put some drosera and spider in...

I was so happy about my new project as I found that after more than one month someone is eating my Nepenthes! I have damages only on little and medium Nepenthes...they did not seem to have touch the big briggsiana....maybe it is not so tasty for them! ;)
