Indeed, roughly six years. I would agree that it could simply be reaching the end of its life, but I feel like that process would be much more gradual. This nose dive happened over just a couple weeks.
I'm even inclined to say it's worsened over just two days, but that's likely me stressing and...
So it's been a bit over a month since the repot, and I've given it some Maxsea 16-16-16 at 1/2 tsp to 1 gallon of water twice since then, through the soil bi-weekly. I'm beginning to grow concerned, because the plant's condition seems to have declined, if only slightly. Some leaves have browned...
Breathtaking. Been itching hardcore to build a terrarium, and man oh man is this inspiring.
Any updates? I'm very interested to see how it'll turn out!
I'll repot shortly for sure then, been shopping around for soil and such anyway. And the tray is just brown plastic, no terracotta here :)
So fertilizer huh? I suppose it had to come some day. I was looking at some the other day, but I'll do some reading on it. Nothing against fertilizing, I've...
Hey guys :-O I don't stop in as often as I should these days, so much is on my plate lately. But I come with a predicament!
This D. capensis was my first plant when I started growing roughly 6 years ago, and it seems its age is beginning to show. Its leaves used to span many times what they do...
Heya friends. Yesterday at work, this particularly odd vining tree at the jobsite I've been working at managed to catch my eye. The place was right on the Puget Sound, in Burien WA to be specific. I'm very curious regarding the name of this plant, but I have had no luck finding anything, even...
Great then, thank you for confirming that. I'd never used fungicide before, so I wasn't sure if there was any special preparation, beyond what the label shows, for use on CPs (considering their sensitive nature).
I just read the foxoles guide, and it's very informative. I'm wondering though, is there some preparation for the fungicide, such as diluting with water? Or is it just fine to apply in the form it comes in? And is a certain brand better? Sorry for so many questions :P I just don't want to do...
Well, my cephalotus has been surviving in my window since I moved into the new house, so I thought I'd share a few pictures. It's been through a few rough patches, and more than one run in with the cat, but so far I've managed to keep it alive and green.
But not green enough! The dead...
Thanks guys, that settles my nerves a bit :) I was trying to think back to chemistry, acids and bases; NaOH was common in assignments. Great idea with the vinegar, I'll give that a go before giving them a good couple pressure washes. Any more suggestions are welcome though.
Heya everybody, long time no visit  I was going to ask in the chat about this, but I've got a pretty specific situation, so I thought it deserved a thread. I'll try and keep it simple and just jump right in:
A friend of mine works at a local car wash, and they just love him; so he's got...
