I have these two spashguards that I used in combination for my 10 Gallon tank.
I just setup a 29 Gallon tank and added a waterfall that has a fogger holder, so I don't need these anymore.
I would like to trade them for a nep, since I have only one kind now. I have Ventricosa and would like...
Here ya go: Too bad my caps aren't in HighDef too!
On the right is the regular sickened cotton plant.
The left is the one that produces protiens that digests insects.
Jim Watson rules.
Here's my new 29 Gallon Terrarium. I went from the 10 Gallon you see on Page 1 of this thread and added a Waterfall.
I need a new fogger disc and it will be shooting out fog too.
I might be tinting the front glass soon.
I'm watching a special on DNA about Jim Watson and about the lab Cold Spring Harbor about 5 mins from me.
They showed a carniverous cotton plant. Gentically made. The scientist says there are a few things they wont do. Mix plant and animal genes. But I think they must have tried....
Crazy cool...
Pretty accurate.
The guy repotted 3 VFT's and put 50 spagnum peat and 50 sand.
He said distilled or rainwater is the best and do not fertilize or it could kill them and also to use low nutrient soils.
I have the segment on my PC recorded.
Today I saw a segment on Rebbeca's Garden going over a few carniverous plants.
They had pretty good shots of some venus fly traps eating insects and taught people how to water and repot them.
I have a STi.

That was a really cool read. Suspended lifeforms. Kinda neat.
Note:
The brine cysts I have are from last summer, so they are a year old.
On a side note, I just built a new 29 gallon terrarium to replace my 10 gallon one.

Siphoning the baby brine out of the soda bottle is very simple too. I just shut off the air. Let the hatched eggs float to the top, and put my LED flashlight on the bottom where they all collect.
I then siphon them out of the same tube I use the airpump on, into the Shrimpery, the Black Box...
This is the results after 24 hours from this second batch.
I think 1/2 teaspoon is way too much. I will put 1/4 teaspoon next time.
Only 1/4 of the eggs hatched so far and some are still inthe process of hatching. I collected alot of baby brine shrimp with my method just now. I used the...
From page one of this topic:
The units are two items - One is the incubator which is just a base or holder for a upside down soda bottle with a hole in the bottom that connects to the air/water tube. The other is the collection box which is normally a incubator also, but I don't use it to...
I wasn't paying attention in science class when they talked about ionic solutions and diffusion of areas of higher concentration to areas of lower concentration.
So I can't accuratly give you a time, but let the shrimp collect for 30 mins, then feed. And then repeat with more water from the...
