    I was told that if you put a layer of perlite over your soil that it disturbs their nesting and they leave haven't tried it yet though.

    Will the gnats or their larva hurt my plans, my D.adelae can't keep up.

    Traps turning black

    I had this problem when I got my first VFT I kept the soil to wet and the roots ended up rooting - but the new leaves kept starting to grow and then dying. Doesn't sound like that is your problem though

    I have it in a round tray with some of my other plants and their doing fine. My S. oreo x leuc flowered and it is in the same tray as the S. x Catesbaei (hope that's better pond boy - geez)

    The flower came up and started to open and hasn't done anything for 3 weeks. Looks healthy conditions haven't changed. Any ideas?

    I have pollinated the flower twice. How do you know if you got it good? Also I saw that you can save the pollen how do you get to it without damaging the flower?
