    Aphids In Winter

I haven't been a very good plant grower and have mostly neglected my plants this winter, besides bringing them in for the winter. I noticed today that I have aphids on about half of them. I pulled off all the ones I saw, but I don't have enough water to flood all my plants. What do you guys...

    New pc

Ozzy, I don't think you could have picked a better computer for your money without building it yourself and even then it would have been hard. Unless you are a gamer, that system will be faster than you need. You can set up Windows XP to look a lot like ME and I would not recommend ME. And if...

    Friday nite clay fight

Lets see, to nitpick. The side view of Polaris's face looks weird. I think it is because the corners of the lips are too sharp. Her buttocks also looks uneven. Her fingers on her right hand looks a little thick. Not bad otherwise. On the American guy, the scale mail on the back of the left arm...

    Men vs women cp growers?

My experience just leads me to believe that men are more likely to participate in forums and typically are more obsessive when it comes to topics. So you just have a disproportional amount of men posting compared to women. I'm sure PFT could simply just look at their buying records and find out...

    Experiment

You should try to make it scientific (since you only have two non identical plants) and take notes on a weekly basis like, average leaf length, number of leaves, and try to keep everything else the same. That way you can correlate the "growth" by say percentages than by overall size. It would...

    A newly sprouted vft....

Yeah looks like a VFT to me too. An easy check is if it isn't a full grown weed tomorrow it is a VFT. I have some VFTs from seed that are a year old and they don't seem much bigger than that at times (they are bigger than that tho).:p

How many of you use another language

Well I use ASM a lot for work. I sometimes use C/C++/C#, Java, Visual Basic, some Haskell, and have done a little SQL and PHP.... Oh wait, wrong forum.

    Power from hell

You're definately improving. I can only imagine how difficult the wings must have been. The detail on the body is really nice. If you take the cover as a guideline, its a really great, but not exactly 1 to 1, the arm positions aren't the same and the cover seems more hunched over, but I realize...

So, what do you do for a living

Software Engineer for Medical Implants. I prefer to think of myself as a software superhero, but most the time I'm just a bug exterminator.

    Another photo

That is so close to what my ideal VFT looks like. It's an absolutely stunning magnificant VFT. Please work on propagating it.

    Vft closing

Nope, they should reopen by tomorrow, just don't move them more or they might think they caught something alive.

    Vft clump size

I think if you look at how they grow, if you have two growth points, the plant can naturally divide by itself. Each new leaf that comes up on the outside of the plant would appear slightly farther away from the center. The center may die down after a couple years and the plant becomes two...

    Would flower stalk cutting help?

Progress update! Believe it or not, thats the same plant about 6 weeks later. Btw, you can put a flower stalk in a cup of water and if it is far enough along it will flower, but I don't think it will develop seeds.
