Just left Alaska for DC area

Hey all, After a brief stint overseas and then back in my home state of Alaska, I've recently moved back to humidity, traffic and sales tax...and also looking forward to getting back in the business of growing primarily Nepenthes, but also whatever else I end up with. Growing has always been...

    Back in Alaska!

Hey guys, Recently back into CPs after moving back home to Anchorage, AK and surviving the winter here. Used to be somewhat active on the forum a few years back when I lived in humid New England; life got busy and priorities had to be dealt with, but now I'm looking forward to the challenge of...

    Some higher altitude Sphagnum available

Okay, if anybody still wants any of this, let me know. I've worked out a trade or two and still have a little left. All I ask is that you pay shipping, so you could call it a giveaway of sorts. Leaving early tomorrow and want this GONE so it doesn't die while I am out.

    Some higher altitude Sphagnum available

Oh, no worries, buddy--the "intemperate" thing was a sad attempt at an emoticon joke... I'm glad more experienced growers like you bring these issues up. I wasn't aware that mosses needed dormancy.

    Some higher altitude Sphagnum available

No, it's intemperate::beer: I don't know actually, but judging from its natural habitat, I would say it probably does. Any ID input from resident Sphagnum gurus appreciated.
