    Am I crazy?

+1 Very healthy opinion, I more so despise parents that become obsessed in the attempt of making their children into what the parent always wanted to be but never succeeded in. Come on, stand back and watch them develop their own unique character and personality offering help and support...

    Snow+Polution?

Send that teacher back to school. WEATHER PLAYS AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN CO AIR QUALITY Carbon monoxide pollution levels are highest in the winter. Strong temperature inversions and cold air near the ground overlain by warm air above trap air pollution near ground level. A temperature inversion...

    Shipping method

Good thread, thanks for posting. How about some packing methods for some of the bigger stuff? Like older mature Nep's and Sarr's loaded with fat and tall pitchers? Or even mature orchids in bloom, any ideas, can it happen? It's always spooked me so I've never done it. I'll be more confident...

Thanks for sharing your images, they are fantastic! Very much worth the time they took to load with my cheezy dialup connection.

some pics with my new digicam

Pretty sharp images, your colors are a bit over saturated, you might want to look at the settings and back that off a little unless it’s due to after the fact software enhancement

Makes me not want to trim up the Sarracenia for spring

Great photo Dave! I looked at the exif data attached and saw that it was taken at 1/50 of a sec. It's really crisp for shooting that slow, did you use a tripod? If not you really have a steady hand.. Here is a bit of Green/Brown Anole trivia. 40 years ago, all I ever saw in the Tampa Bay...

LED lights.....ran across an interesting experiment

The test is still representative of the differences of LED vs Fluorescents being that both the fixtures were at distance from the plants which made them functional. I think the main reason the manufacture recommends the distance they have with the LED light bar is due to it's design, it has to...
