for outside bog gardens... can anyone tell me how they did it? i was planning on making one or trying to atleast, my plants are taking too much room in room so any thoughts
well i understand that in order for long upright leaves you should leave them in the sun... but what if u have them but they are too weak to hold up the trap and kinda slouch down... more sun?
im not sure what type of sundew i have because im more of a VFT man myself but my sundew is a more of a tree looking kinda thing it long medium sized leaves and is not producing any dew at all... any idea on how to encourage production of the dew?
one of my vfts is producing another small plant and i successfully did a leaf cutting
on another note my sundew has 3 smaller plants and my butterwort has 1 or 2!!
that makes 6 vfts
2 maybe 3 butterworts
and 4 sundews
and 1 pitcher =) (bought it 2 days ago)
from what ive read on here before i think ur plant is just in shock, it may not start growing for another couple of weeks... i read that when u buy a plant at a store and thye dont treat it right it wont grow for a couple of weeks until it begins to grow again
a month ago i decided to try and do a leaf cutting... or several i should say, i tried about 3 leaves
2 died but 1 amazingly grew, it was beginning to grow small roots so i transplanted it into a pot which was once a home of another vft that had died, i soaked the spahgnum so it moist again...
also has anyone tried leaf cuttings with the flower?
AND
i found a light from one of my previous fish tanks because my plants are in a terrarium.. im not sure what kind of light should b used. the light inside it right now is kinda purple-pink looking but not a black light. i was wondering if...
