what sort of freak traps do you have? i have a trap with a curve in it (like a twisted trap), a 2trap/one leaf, a trapless leaf, and a really really small trap.
Yes you can. But it takes 1-2 weeks for a venus fly trap to digest it's food. If you feed it to much it could do it harm. Also do not feed it any human food as this kills the plant. Only feed your venus fly trap insects and some grubs, if you do do so, then only feed it 2-3 times a month. you...
It could also be possible the water is causing it, because when i used your water i started to grow a bit of mold, until i bought some de-ionisied wtter and tried to start to collect rainwater it went (after i took it all of though)

I recieved my oxford red a couple of days ago with my south west giant. My oxford red at the moment is very tiny, with about 1.5cm leaves. My south west giant on the other hand has got 4cm traps, with 5 traps altogether at the moment.
I have also had the same thing happened to me, i just recieved my south west giant and my oxford red clone from triffid nurseries today. And the roots are really long on the south west giant, wearas on the oxford red they are 1" on a really tiny plant.

First thing.......don't feed your venus fly trap burger as the fat will cause it to die. Secondly, never make the venus fly traps close on purpose (eg poking them with your finger) as doing this to many times kills the trap (not the entire plant). Keep the plant in about 2cm of water if you are...
