until about 10 years ago, I was quite active in this forum. At the time, I lived in Taiwan and had a greenhouse with ca. 300 Nepenthes on my garage top. In 2007 I attended the Sarawak Nepenthes Summit in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo (see also my related posts), which triggered...
Thanks again for the kind words, y'all! The mosquitoes get caught a lot, because they breed in the water the pots are in. The tank's closed, so they can't escape.
Howdy and thanks for the kudos! I use a Pentax K10D with a variety of Sigma and Zeiss/Hasselblad lenses as well as a stack of extension tubes. Most of these pix were shot with a Sigma 105 mm macro lens; for the D. madagascariensis I used a Zeiss/Hasselblad 60mm f/3.5 Distagon C and half a foot...

I bought it as a "Redsomethingorother", but after a few weeks of substandard weather, it turned green, like they all do. I don't believe in varieties, only in species :-)
