I've raised Cecropia silk moth caterpillars once, but a virus came through and squashed them all :( Picked up a pair of cecropia cocoons this time, and they're almost ready to emerge. They wriggle every so often...!

I was excited to find that the nursery I visted today had specimens of pinguicula, drosera, dionaea, sarracenia, and nepenthes. Any IDs on the ping I took home would be fantastic. Pictures include shots of the plant I took home, plus several the nursery had flowering. Thanks!

I haven't bred successfully before, but if I can get my two females to call in wild cecropias, perhaps I'll get some eggs! Fingers crossed.
I just bought an unknown ping from a local nursery today, so I'm off to read and see if I can figure out an ID.
