Back At It... Anyone in Michigan?

After a long hiatus (partially due to not being in a place/living situation that I can keep CP's) I'm looking to get back into the hobby after losing my initial collection 🙃 What's the scene in Michigan? Anyone around the Southwest Michigan area?

    Just a LOT of pics

Nice pics. The frog hitchhiker pic made me laugh out loud for some reason. He looks so pissed off that he's being photographed. Cool walking stick too.

Does anyone root fertilise their Heliamphora?

I've used this organic stuff called plant tone I had laying a round a couple of times on my reducta (grows in the same soil and region as heliamphora) and it seems to be responding well. It's just chicken crap, feathers, ect. ect. The capensis I potted in there with it are really taking off...

    Unknown Monstrocity!

Hoping so. I'm growing the cutting I took in live LFS and it's doing good. Hoping for a big pitcher next spring! Whatever it is it's pretty. I'll post more pics when the pitchers mature more on the mother plant. I'm just now removing the plastic bag overnight to acclimate the cutting. No...

Yeah, it's definetely got some miranda in it. It's more orange than the typical miranda though. Srduggins: what's the one you're holding in your avatar pic. That looks a lot like it actually, lol. ---------- Post added at 12:19 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:12 AM ---------- Hey...

Me too. I'm glad the cutting I took hasn't kicked the bucket yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Wow, that thing is delightfully weird. I must have one! Are they hard to care for? I mean, compared to your typical CP of course, LOL.

I just got bit by a spider, would like info

I got bit in the joint of my big toe once. Caused a horrible inflamation process that I had to go to the immediate care for. They tested me for gout because the pain was so bad. I couldn't even sleep with a sheet on my toe it was so sensitive. I was taking 800 of motrin every 6 hours AND...

    Bufo Americanas habitat

Live plants are fine, just be aware they can harbor bugs and bacteria that may cause you problems later if you have really bad luck. Any pet store would have the vitamin dust. Any commercial cricket dust would be fine. Some are better than others, but I couldn't recommend a specific one to...
