    Wanted: Nepenthes singalana pollen

My female N.singalana is blooming again and I'd like to get some N.singalana pollen for her. Will also consider offers of pollen from other species that may produce some interesting hybrids. Standard 50/50 split on all resulting seed pods. Thanks.

    Propagating Drosophyllum from cuttings

I just pulled the leaves off the main stalk, trying to get as much of the white connective basal tissue as possible. Then I just stuck them in moist vermiculite in small peat pots under humidity domes. Newer leaves work best.

    Propagating Drosophyllum from cuttings

I've grown them from leaf pullings before. I got low strike rates, maybe 1 in 8 struck but it can be done.

    Glandular tentacle on petiole

This is actually very common in D.prolifera. I see it in my own plants all the time.

    Mystery Pot of Dews

Going by the 1st photo in the post I see 2 D.intermedia, one at 2:00 and one at 5:00. I also see what appears to be D.capillaris at 6:00. I'm not seeing anything that resembles D.rotundifolia in that pot.

    Mystery Pot of Dews

These look like typical D.filiformis var. filiformis. I also see D.intermedia and what appears to be D.capillaris in there.

    Tuberous Drosera

Possible, yes. There's definitely something going on with those plants.

    Tuberous Drosera

Just the fact that there is U.bisquamata growing in there is telling me that these plants from CC did not get a proper dormancy. This could have something to do with their appearance.

    Tuberous Drosera

No, they're grown in my basement where it stays very cold this time of year.

    Tuberous Drosera

I use T5's, 4 tubes, a mix of 6,500k cools and 3,00k warms. I will be upgrading the cools to 10,000k soon. The lights are about 12" above the lowest growing plants.

    Drosera brevifolia availability?

I personally enjoy growing it. It's similar to D.burmannii in it's weediness and short life span. I never mind seeing them pop up where they're not supposed to be.

    Drosera brevifolia availability?

Seeds are somewhat commonly available. It's a common U.S. native that also happens to be an annual with a propensity to be weedy. I just don't think many people bother growing it intentionally.

    Mutant carnivorous flowers

I've seen false vivipary in Dionaea, Heliamphora and occasionally in Drosera, never to this extent though. Great pic, thanks for sharing.
