my vft's did really well in my front window of my house last year,all of the bugs that came in got stuck in the front window and guess what my two vft's have never been busier catching a huge amount of insects.and then a sudden growth spurt along with the flower stalks which i cut off...
that is the one though.i have replaced it with a eclipse natural sunlight bulb and will see how the results come out..but i dont have much venting so air can get in there.not sure if that is the problem.

it is a bulb from the petstore,what would be good for a 10 gallon terrarium? the s purpurea are doing really good.but the dews are suffering.the sundews are mainly spaths and adalae.

i am using this kind of bulb,its 15 watts and 6700 kelvins.it seems to really make my s purpurea get really red and purple veins so its doing really well except for my sundews which seem to get burned.dunno what i am doing wrong.any help would be appreciated.

the plants are around 6 inches to 10 inches from the light,i am using a life glo flourescent bult for the 10 gallon terrarium.
i have a common ping in my 10 gallon terrarium and it seems that the new leaves coming out on it are dying and getting brown,i also found the same problem with some of my sundews as well.if anyone can suggest some possible answers to my problem they would be greatly appreciated

just got back from my florida panhandle trip,lots of fun and excitement.seen lots of sars and drosera.was a wonderful trip.il have pics when i suck them from my smartmedia card ::)

from my experience its best to cut the bloom off as soon as you see it,because when they bloom the arent that pretty to look as as well.and i have let some bloom in the past and they have died. just a fyi to all of you...
i cannot stress my deepest thanks and sincere appreciation for the seeds you sent me,thank you soo much for your time and patience in sending me an assortment of drosera seeds.

my capensis typical drosera i planted the seeds over 2 weeks ago are coming up,they are small and you can barely see them for the green but they are there!! WOOT!!

you should do what i do,i got a screened in porch that allows full sun to come thru and no birds,but if the particular bird species was not in danger of of extinction then by all means kill the little bugger
