I understand that. But if these people are as shady as everyone says they are there is probably still profit to be made from selling a seeds from a plant that isn’t wild as something else- (e.g actually having mirabilis x Hamata seeds and selling them as macrophylla) I was simply remarking on a...
Bit more squat than this and not quite as many lid hairs but this is what I was looking at

Everything looks like it is doing very well.
Capensis: I have had some display this behavior when humidity is really low. If your humidity is not very low it’s probably still adapting. It will be fine. I have never had one die after displaying such behavior.
Big mouth: that red coloration is...
That seller has been around quite awhile and sells many different hats. I found those too about a year ago. I believe they are priced the way they are because they are produced from exotic material. They are high end hats. Not cheap.
That light is plenty powerful for what you are growing I would do at least 10 hours on though. Flytraps and sarrs love lots of light the Capensis will too but it will stunt its growth if you give it too much bright led (from plenty-o exp. growing under led) as for dormancy your flytraps will be...
This George Vance guy haha, he just chimes in with irrelevant info on posts. This isn’t the first time. It’s like a computer detecting key words and then pumping out an random somewhat relevant response...
So you want to grow the highlands upstairs where your lowlands are so they are more viewer friendly so to speak but can’t achieve the low temps up there? I think I understand now! Yes cooling is tough. I am in the process of making a super highland tank. I am building it from a refrigerator with...
Beautiful plants Myles. I have been thinking of snagging one of the N. ‘Briggsiana’
there have been quite a few available. I love that Inermis as well. I recently learned that it’s name means “unarmed” in Latin because it’s uppers completely lack peristomes but make up for it with their syrupy...
More info would help. For example what kind of lighting are you using? How close is it to the terrarium, is the terrarium open or mostly sealed what is it near? A window? Or just in a room or a cool basement?
I have found for my indoor plants the easiest thing you can do is work with your...
I’m a bit confused, you say the winter summer temps are 45/55 degrees F and highs of ~60 F? Are you sure you are not looking for a heater and not a chiller? My highland neps get 72-76 degrees F during the day and cool to about 58-62 F at night.
