even a vft with short teeth can be a typical. seriously, i don't get the urge of many people to categorize and name their plants.
They are all unique in their own way, you could distinct every typical vft and give it a name.
all my vft's were in pots and minibogs and all of them survived. We had -7 celcius or so for a week with a few days heavy snowing. It's still freezing from time to time now.
I don't know why everyone worries about this, imo they can handle it. And if they do not survive you've filtered out some...

not sure if anyone mentioned it but some water conditioners leave a film on the water. I use aquasafe and it leaves a film. there was a topic about it on ultimatebettas
Spiders like living around my carnivores, there is this one spider that creates a web from sarracenia pitcher to sarracenia pitcher, he's also not afraid to go inside them and get food that way (he always manages to get out)
If it doesnt have a tag that you know is verifieable, then it is a typical. It's not because your plant is just a 'typical' that it isn't special or unique
why don't you leave them outside all the time, it's not like these plants get lonely and need your attention all day long. They can handle it don't worry
