    Neps for Small Spaces

    N. lavicola is kind of in the same boat. Lovely mini, perfect for someone with a...damp, chilly house?

    First Nepenthes Pollination

I was kind of lazy about keeping this thread updated, but things went mostly okay with my flower and I harvested the last of the seeds yesterday. I don't have super high hopes for getting good sprouts from them - this photo does not do justice to how miniscule they are - but at least there are...

Took some nice pics of my nepenthes Garden

That's a happy surprise with the female! That plant is unreal. Have you got a partner for it already?

    Too much humidity?

I would probably start without the misting for that level of humidity - neps like wet leaves, but so does fungus

Some new pics from here and there.....

Oh yeah, my brain misinterpreted the 'Helen' as breeder data and I thought they must just be exceptionally chunky. Clone A is particularly neat - I feel like it's rare to see a spectabilis hyrbid that keeps the really clear striping vs. blushing red. I definitely will. I would be thrilled to...

Took some nice pics of my nepenthes Garden

That's so exciting. Those are both stunners and those flower stalks look so chunky. You get the biggest flowers!

Some new pics from here and there.....

Stunning as always! I love your photos for trying to train on guessing species. I'm very jealous of your spectabilis collection; I've become an addict. I didn't realize when I bought it that N. x 'Autumn Wine' is a homegrown creation of yours - it is gorgeous. My cutting just stated to take...

    My small intermediate terrarium

Lovely setup, and you aren't kidding about that ampullaria. Excited to see how it matures.

    rosette-on-a-stick syndrome

I think it is a lot easier to under-feed than people realize (the first advice everyone stumbles onto being "they need very little"). I accidentally sent a whole batch of plants into chlorosis this year because I was being too gentle with them for their growth rate, and have come around to doing...

Looking For (trade) Wanted: 'Lady Luck'! I have Neps, Orchids, Isopods, and Berries for Trade.

I think that plant came from me originally, so I can speak to it being an oddly tolerant thing. I make no long term promises but it's handled 8ish months in an intermediate tent just fine, while growing like a weed. I think it will probably appreciate as cool a windowsill as it can be given, but...

Does this look familiar to anybody?

Hope this is useful - your gal is behind and there is a (lidless) St Gaya pitcher in front. They are grown in different light levels but otherwise similar conditions.

Does this look familiar to anybody?

It's definitely something a little bit different, (pattern on pitchers less distinct, leaves more pink and less copper) but I didn't realize how similar the lower pitchers looked until you said that! I have both so I will grab a side-by-side pic tomorrow. Darn close.
