Yeah, probably. Doesn't make me feel much better about missing out.
And what SirKristoff said... makes me feel several billion times worse, because I missed out on something better.
I know it's not his fault, or any of you guy's fault, you were trying to help, and I didn't say what I meant...
SirKristoff - I'm trying to apologize to everyone about this.
I really, HONESTLY did not mean to insult anybody. :(
And I know I'm SOL. That's why it's titled "noooooooooooooooooooo" I wasn't exppecting people to do anything, I just kinda wanted to vent, because it was frustrating.
Now...
YES!
Exactly.
Saying this was like any other hobby really was NOT meant as an insult! I just thought it was kind of funny when somebody said that this was not like other hobbies when you guys act like every other hobby forum I've ever been on.
WTF?
I'm really sorry that you folks seem to be taking what I've said as some kind of attack or putting down.

Attack? *blink* Ooooooooooooookay. No attack whatsoever was meant.
I just really can't think of any reason for your insisting, despite my trying to say otherwise, that some person you've never met must be ignorant.
Given that one would be tagged "venus fly trap" and the other would be tagged "cobra lilly" I really suspect they could tell. I don't doubt he had no idea what they were when I first mentioned them, but given that he found them in his list of products, and correctly called them "cobra lillies"...
So I saw MidnightSkies' post about having found some cobra lillies at Lowe's and I thought to myself "Self, you really want a cobra lilly, and you have a local Lowe's, why don't you call them and see if they have some too?" So I called... and they had just sold out! And weren't getting any...

I went for a walk today and dropped into Home Depot as I was passing by, just to have a look at the plants, and what should I spy there among the succulents, but a pleiospilos! Two of them, even. I thought the one that swords had shown the other day was pretty spiffy, so I just couldn't resist...
