A few months ago, I decided to take a cutting from the top of my D. Madagascariensis.
When it started growing back, it did'nt just resume growth normally... It started growing out of 3 spots where I took the cutting!
The pictures are pretty bad, but you get the idea.
Is this sort of...
I bought this guy a year ago, and it's been growing very well in a huge variety of conditions (high humidity, low humidity, full shade, full sun, etc), but I dont know it's species. It has never flowered, too.
Can someone identify it?

I found this poor guy (or gal) in a dark, forgotten spot in a shop. I asked the workers how long it's been in there, and they said it's been for about two months!
This plant is in great shape for the time it spent forgotten from humanity (I suspect the only thing they did for it was...
Does anyone have some experience with this hybrid? I may grab one soon, so I wanted some basic information about it.
I've seen it's a hybrid of two lowlanders, so I'm concerned about my 3-5°C minimum temperature during winter (I plan to grow it outdoors). Is it tolerant of low temperatures...
Hi.
While I dont understand so much about Nepenthes, I can point out a few things while a nepenthes-expert doesn't answer all your questions precisely:
1 - Red leaves can be a sign that you're giving it too much light. (I'm not sure, but I think that could be the problem.) How much...
Interesting. Well, I've never had happy endings with shocking my plants, but those were a bit less hardy plants (The older growth never died off, but it had an overall unhealthy look, and so did the new growth, then I always ended up going a few steps back, slowly acclimating them). I assumed...
I had noticed my D. Intermedia had quite a few curled and twisted leaves and flowerstalks for some time now. One of the stalks ended up dying, the second stalk got... Weird. It divided in half, and it looked like a D. Binata leaf. That's when I took a very close look and saw tiny green bugs on...
Oh, I think most if not all droseras can do fine in coconut peat! I'm using coco husk, which isn't a fine powder like peat.

That's great to hear. I'll try to keep things updated about experiments with this media, I should see if D. Intermedia grows on it soon enough. I really hope they do well as the capensis and spatulata did.
First of all, dont worry about it. Capensis is made of steel. Second, changing them too suddenly as Steve said, can cause a shock.
If it's used to bright shade, I would move them to a place that gets only one, maybe two hours of direct morning light at first, then move it to somewhere that gets...
Hello everyone.
After looking online for quite a while, I found some growers tried using coconut husk chips along with sphagnum moss as a media for Droseras, but never found any results. Well, here I am to say what are MY results using a soil composed of 4/10 coco chips, and 6/10 long fiber...
