I used to use distilled water for everything but I now use tap water, which here (southern CT) is low in dissolved solids, for all but my most sensitive plants. I also use tap water in my humidifier, with no ill effects. Unless the mist from the humidifier is wetting your plants and leaving...
Yeah, I don't know what the lumen output is but my totally non-scientific measurement is plant color and vigor. Some unhappy Neps that weren't getting the best light took off when I added the LEDs. Whatever brand you choose, the cost of running LEDs shouldn't break the bank.
